For over 45 years, June Meagher has been a pioneer in the world of  healing championing diverse modalities and helping to shape wellbeing festivals across the UK. Her move from the south to Portpatrick marked her semi-retirement however her love of organising festivals was re-ignited by the inspiring vision of Lianne, whose passion for creating a local wellbeing festival deeply resonated. June instantly knew that joining forces with Lianne and Vida would be a powerful and heart-led collaboration resulting in Selkie Soul Festival.


Currently June:

  • Holds workshops, sound, baths, courses and retreats around Europe.

  • Holds regular sound baths around the UK including a monthly one in Portpatrick

  • Is a Director of Nahash Health CIC offering free self development courses online

  • Is currently a Trustee of the UGC featuring regular discussions from leading spiritual leaders

  • Holds a PGCE teaching qualification

  • Co-organises the Shropshire Peace Conference & Peace Concert

  • Talks and holds workshops at various festivals and events including Soul Revolution, Soul Medicine, Conscious Tribal Gathering, Shropshire Wellbeing Festival and more

  • Is a FHT insured teacher

  • Manages the LinkedIn Group Healers &Therapists news which has over 19,000 members from across the globe

The Past - About June Meagher


  • A founding Trustee of Sound4Healing, a charitable foundation aimed at funding sound healing research which sat alongside The College of Sound Healing in the UK

  • A Former Trustee and Board Member of The Healing Trust (NFSH) the UK’s largest healing organisation.

  • A Former Trustee/Director of Tan-y-Garth Hall Retreats Ltd, the UK’s oldest residential yoga centre in the UK and home to the International Hermeneutic Society

  • A Trustee, tutor and assessor for the Peacehaven Healing Centre which is fully accredited under BAHA- The British Alliance of Healing Associations

  • The resident holistic tutor at the Priory Business & Training School, Shrewsbury for over 10 years until 2018

  • Organised the Exhibition of Healing & Complementary Therapies for 20 years, the UK's largest free holistic wellbeing event in Shropshire with around 90 exhibitors and 30 speakers.

  • Co-created the LivingWell Festival, a wellness event held in 29 acres of beautiful parkland in Shrewsbury

  • Awarded the LuxLife Holistic Tutor of the Year 2019

  • Created the Talking your Walk series on YouTube

  • Was one half of the duo 'eternal sea'

  • Created the CDs, Journey of the Soul, Deep Space Within & AMMAR Dance Chants

June has a background in marketing and PR and has worked with companies such as Jones Lang Lassalle, Quartix, Virgin, GNC, Ninjin Limited and is a former Director of Chemical Watch.  Chemical Watch is the leading global provider of intelligence and insight for product safety professionals managing chemicals with over 100,000 subscribers. June helped organise Chemical Regulatory events globally particularly in Brussels and Washington DC as well as manage subscriptions.
