An inclusive and feel-good festival held every Beltane weekend in the magical lands of Wigtownshire, Selkie Soul brings people together for three days of connection, discovery, wellbeing and, most importantly, fun. Set in the coastal town of Stranraer, nestled in the stunning Rhins of Galloway and on the shores of beautiful Loch Ryan, this not-for-profit festival is all about creating community and opening the door to the many different ways we can support our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

The Selkies are mythological shapeshifters who transform between seal and human form. They are no strangers to the depths, nor the playful waves. When they remove their skins and walk on land, they reveal an irresistible beauty in human form. This festival invites you to connect with your inner Selkie; your depths, your fun, the masks we wear, and the true beauty and joy of gathering together in packs.

Part retreat, part festival, you’ll have three days of everything that makes you feel good. Kicking off Friday with our opening ceremony to bring everyone together, we then invite you to enjoy a huge variety of workshops, talks, stalls and therapists, alongside an incredible line-up of bands and artists travelling from near and far to share their gifts and talent. Our musicians and performers are personally hand-picked, chosen because we’ve seen, heard and experienced something special in what they bring.​ With onsite food and accommodation, a swimming pool, sauna and camping options nearby, we offer the perfect opportunity to rest and restore, whilst being part of a community.

Whether this is all new to you and you simply want to dip a toe in, or you’re ready to go deep with our transformational workshops, there’s space for you here. Maybe you want to make new friends and chill out on the sofas at the acoustic stage, go shopping, or receive relaxing treatments throughout the weekend.
